Amazing pizza in a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very nice. The 90s music is also pretty cool.

Solid pizza, definitely reminds me of that back in the States. Only thing missing from being 5 stars is that it could've been a bit more crispy and had more olive oil. Would certainly try another pizza (or the same) from there next time

Quite a pleasant surprise! Wasn’t sure what to expect.Food was great! We ordered a caprese salad, which was delightful. Non typical complex flavours. Two pizzas, Diavola and Bianchetti. Very, very good! Bit of a italo/japanese fusion going on. Great pizza. To finish, desert was pumpkin gratin ice cream kind of a thing - can’t remember the exact name... heavenly!!! Lastly, tea and coffee. Properly brewed. Really good value. Both the chef and the lady helping him were lovely. If you happen to be travelling through the area and feel like having something else other than Japanese, just go and you won’t regret it.We left with a smile on our faces.

Hand tossed, freshly baked then straight to your plate! Best Brick oven Pizzeria in Fuji Kawaguchiko. We are so lucky to find this place open last Jan 3rd since most of the restaurants were close for the Holidays. The taste is good not that store bought one. Pizza size maybe good for 1-2 person. Price is also reasonable. We also ordered Prosciutto Salad (sorry we immediately ate it so no chance or take a photo🤤) their dressing was so good! It really complements the freshly sliced prosciutto and parmesan cheese. They serve Pizza, Pasta, Salad, Beer and Wine (also Juice/Soda).When you go visit please expect that most restaurants in the area are "Cash Only".

Stumbled across this place unexpectedly. Super good, legit oven from Naples and everything.

The food was marvelous and the service was friendly. Many foreigners (Danish, Italian, British ) were there, and the layout was a very cozy atmosphere.Brilliant.

One of the best Pizzas I've ever had!

Delicious pizza cooked in a proper pizza oven, for around 1400 yen per pizza if i recall correctly. They weren't huge, but that's probably me being greedy as they were so nice. Staff were very pleasant. Served in under ten minutes. Good for vegetarians.

Sweet lady working there, doesn't speak English, but not a problem. Pizza was fast and is delicious. One point: personally I would rather wait 15 min more and let the dough grow on lower heat. Otherwise, great little resteraunt with fair prices.

Excellent flat crust pizza. Friendly owners. Try the margarita and prosciutto as well as the Quattro fromagio. Simply delicious!

Excellent experience!!! I stumbled across this place while exploring Lake Kawaguchi and could smell the pizzas from street. Highly recommended the Margherita.

Loved this place! The wood-fired pizza was spectacular, best I’ve tasted in a long time. Homemade ginger ale and homemade candies orange peel was amazing. Owners were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was well priced and place itself was cozy. Would thoroughly recommend! Also pretty sure all the food was handmade which made it that much better

Great Neapolitan style pizza in a hole in the wall, with an authentic Italian pizza oven! Owner is very friendly. Unique homemade ginger ale was a treat!

Amazing authentic stoned baked pizza. I went for a classic Margherita and it was delicious. I'm tempted to go again tomorrow! The service was quick and was reasonably priced. I used the chilli oil and chilli powder they provided making it perfect for me. Thanks Pizzeria Onda.

Delicious oven-fired pizza. Home-made soft drinks such as the ginger ale make a great compliment to the pizza. Staff/owners are friendly and accommodating whatever your Japanese language ability or lack there-of. Great dinner to fill up with after a long hike on Mt.Fuji just across the lake!

The irony of life...this cosy pizza place ran by a cute old Japanese couple makes one of the best pizza I ever tried. Even the pasta was great. In a tiny village at the feet of Mount Fuji.We weren't expecting this! It must be the water or the super fresh produce. 5 stars all the way

Lovely traditional wood fired pizza. Was kind enough to help us choose vegan options and understand what that meant.

As others have said this is a fantastic woodfire pizza place along with some great hand made fruit/soda drinks. The menus are in English and Japanese.

Delicious pizza cooked in a proper oven. Great service in a small cozy dining room and home made soft drinks. Can't fault this place really. The quatro fromagio with honey is to die for. Walnuts a nice touch.

I was not expecting to have the best brick oven margherita pizza outside of Italy, but that is what I got! Perfect size for two people, great flavors, quick service and only ¥1170, a great deal!

I came here at 1 p.m. and it was closed. Disappointing

Excellent pizza, especially the hot salami and eggplant. Very cute little shop with a true wood burning oven that even has "Mt. Fuji" built into its tiled exterior. Service was fast and very courteous. Definitely the place to enjoy a relaxing dinner.

Delicious pizza baked in stone oven. There’s one child chair. Small and cozy.

Delicious pizza - very authentic Italian style crust! A bit pricier than other Japanese food you would find in the area, as it is mostly catered to tourists (didn’t see any other Japanese people in the restaurant). Homemade sodas were also great (lemonade and blueberry) Service was also very good :)

How can you beat great beer and pizza!

Cosy place with delicious gourmet pizza

One of the best woodfire pizza shop in Japan! I’m a pizza lover and I have been trying many places during my stay here. However, I must say there are only a few which offer authentic Italian woodfire pizza. Onda is one of them. I have uploaded the menu here since I can see people are asking for it and it doesn’t exist on their Google My Business page.

I guess they never stick to their opening hours.

Walked in to be greeted by the nicest old lady who showed us to our table and always came up to us with a smile , the food was some of the most authentic Italian pizza I have ever eaten and some of the best tasting I've had in a while. The place was small but extremely cozy and some killer classics playing in the background. If you are staying in kawaguchiko or the general area I could not reccomend this place enough !!!!

Lovely little place with some authentic wood oven pizza. The pizzas really good size and really tasty. The elderly lady at the front is just the sweetest. Check it out if you're looking for something besides Japanese food in the area. They have an English menu as well.

We ordered two pizzas and some drinks for Wednesday midday lunch. The pizzas were cooked in a wood fire oven and the drinks were housemade flavored sodas. We went back on the Thursday evening but it was closed despite the hours listed here. Highly recommended, everything was delicious! The front of house lady was extremely friendly and accommodating to us and our toddler too. They have a high chair and kids books.

This place is part of the reason why Japan is riding the pizza wave! Small shop run by an old woman and (I suppose) her son. Order about 3/4 of a pie per person. We tried 5 tonight they were all super good! Salads are great too. Also stay away from the Japanese wine (not sake) unless you like sweet and vinegary. Also head there early they tend to run out of pizza dough.

Very good pizza, some of the better pizzas I've tried. Great little small shop with great service. If you're looking for something different it's a good change of pace. Pasta was good too.
